I have put this fish on here recently in the last biggest bream post so here goes again.
49cm black bream from the Hopkins river in Victoria, taken on a 3inch chartreuce gulp minnow and 4 lb fireline.
An awesome memory!!!!!

Funnily enough i dont chase them now i live in QLD. I will take a long time to beat it. Once my daughter grows up i will no doubt chase a few bream

44cm on a salted slimy fillet
42 to the fork for me
caught on a pearl blue powerbait 2 winters ago.
i got close last season witha 39 to fork on pearl blue again of kingfisher jetty
44 cm in a session on North Straddie surf where I kept 20 bream - the smallest 38cm
It was like pulling snapper off the beach. They were the fattest silver bream you could imagine. Tasted absolutely superb.

44 landbased in the broadwater on plastics. Have caught some crackers in the surf on bait around 40 too.
