    artificial reefs in moreton bay

would'nt it be great if the powers to be were to establish artificial reefs, ( old silver train carriages/busses) along the inside of moreton island. maybe 10 or so.
imagine the fish they would attract. and maybe you would get one all to yourself every now and again.

    cheers

There actually are two on the western side of Moreton that i know of, curtain which is an everyman and his dog spot and there is also one further north, there are a few cars and a bus out there so I've been told. Have seen some very nice fish pulled off it.

You may have your wish sooner than you think. There is an article in the paper today about the government allocating 1 million dollars to establish new artificial reefs in Moreton bay.
