New to Melbourne

Hey all...Names Michael. relatively new to melbourne (16 months from Adelaide).

Mad as keen fisherman, but getting extremely put off by my lack of catch. Be it lack of knowledge in the area, fish, bait, etc.

Hoping to pick up a few tips.

I love the relaxing nature, and even when i dont catch anything, im still happy to be fishing.

Only like to keep what i can eat. lucky im a good glazier, or i would starve. lol.

I'm new here also and live in Melbourne. Where are you located and are you land based or have a boat? I maybe able to suggest a few spots where apparently there are fish, although for some reason most of the fish have been giving me a wide birth as of late.

Mate i am land based. In Northern Burbs.

been fishing St kilda pier, Kerferd Rd, Warmies. have caught the odd small pinky.

need to go more.
