Hey dudes whats up just thought i'd introduce myself! I'm Aaron, just recently moved to Brisbane to be with my girl, moved up from Newcastle (about an hour away really) and am keen as mustard to get stuck into the fishing up here.

fishing of which will be completly new to me, i know nothing of anything here and i dont have a clue of where to even get to any water lol. (currently located in bald hills, however moving very shortly to where as yet dont know)
once i secure a job will be looking to grab some tackle and more than likely be hitting it up with the soft plastics around some creeks and rivers.

If anybody could point me in the right direction in terms of locations, tackle required (you guys get jacks up here right? would love to tangle with one of them, but not sure on exactly what i need!) for the basic stuff up here would be greatly appreciated!!

ps whats the jewie scene up here like?
