Thread: Shimano Stradic OR Daiwa Tierra?

Re: Shimano Stradic OR Daiwa Tierra?

I do quite a lot of lure fishing for bream and one of the reels I use is the 1000 Stradic. I also use the Daiwa Sol's and similar. The Stradic wins the race because I get less tangles. My first impressions was that it was too small but I've had mine for 3 years and love it. The Daiwa's are usually my favoured spin reel but the new spool design and the worm oscillation is a winner.

Got both and like both, but i would simply go the daiwa because you get a spare spool and you dont with the shimano. I have braid on 1 spool for plastics outside and mono for beach fishing on the other huge bonus imo
