You will never get the amount of braid on your spool that the calculations suggest. I'm lucky to get 50%more fireline than mono for a specific BS. I reckon they measure the line with a micrometer that squashes it flat. There is no way 4lb braid is actualy a 1/4 the diameter of 4lb mono
