Lippa have a look on the a kff site under trip reports...meter plus flattie. Its getting buried there pretty quick..it's actually got me baffled a bit given the significance of the fish on a brag mat

Righto, these pictures are not mine, and I dont know the bloke in them. I found them on a fishing related page of a social networking site. The person who posted the pictures did so on behalf of the bloke in them. Since they are already in the Public Domain, I thought I'd share them here.

The man in the photos is named as Darryl Izzard and this fish was captured at Forster/Tuncurry in 2007, the fish was weighed at 26 pounds. This is the information that was posted along with the pictures, unfortunately, no length was specified. Surely this beast has to be over the magic meter mark?

No worries Gecko....actually Im a bit suprised at the interest or lack thereof in the pic given the debate on this forum over tha last 2-3 years about 1m lizzards.

My pb flatty would only be about 50cm or so (dont have a pic). I hope to improve that record in the next month or so though.

How do the bigger flatties rate on the plate? Better or worse than smaller ones?

Re: show me ya biggest flathead caught(in a pic)

My Biggest was 1050 caught on the middle wall at Yamba about 8 years ago, weighed in at 6.9 kg in the weekly comp & got beat by .1 of a kg (bugger) ..
Have a photo of it on a wheat bag & it is longer than that, wish i still had it on a disk or something so i could post it.....i should have let it go (younger & sillier) way to dry to eat... nowadays i let them all go
