    Jacking up the Pajero

Hi guy's was jacking up the Paj, this arvo to fix a rattle in the front shock, and me floor jack lost pressure.

Now it's only a few years old and will even let it self down with out a load on it.
Hmmm I put some more Jack oil in her that helped a bit but 1 time out of around 10 lifts the jack goes down.

Any ideas what gives, it doesn't leak or make any noise as it comes down, like it does when you release the pressure relief screw.

Thought I would ask here before I stripped it down.

Scares the hell out of me thinking about all the times as a kid getting under a car with out a stand.

I had one that smashed the end of the pin (goes against a steel ball) that you undo to release the pressure with.
It wouldn't hold anything up at all until I made a new one.
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good

Thanks finga, yeah was thinking maybe a bit of crud near that ball holding it open might do the same thing. Chears I'll strip it down and flush it out and put some new oil in it.
