Mate its great up there!!
Havent had much of a go at the big barra tho..
A few weeks ago we were up there camping at Kauri creek. We put out the pots around the corner and had great results!
However, each day, we pulled the pots and placed them further and further in to the 'inlet' I have indicated on the map. The catch got less and less... So I am assuming, the area's I have marked, are the areas where one could get more redclaw. (these things were 2-250mm long!) I havent had the time or experience to absolutely say this is correct, but its my experience so far. Depth around the 6-9 mtr mark.
