Rocky Barra Bounty

We've got a couple of teams heading up to barra bounty this year from brisbane. None of us have ever fished the river, so any advice on what to expect would be a big help. I've heard the town reaches are in flood at the moment, which is where we were going to fish for most of the comp. Is there plenty of other structure closer to the mouth where some slightly cleaner water might be? Cheers Keith..
