Accomodation Hervey Bay

Hey Guys,
Making our first trip to Hervey Bay in October and looking for caravan park cabin accomodation for 4 nights with parking next to cabin for a 6 metre boat and spot for 4wd, all close to good ramp , can anyone recommend any parks.

Try the Boatharbour Resort it is a couple of hundred metres from the boat ramp, has plenty of room to park boats and is very reasonably priced, clean and well run. We stayed there for a week earlier this year with a 6.8 metre boat and will definitely stay there next time we go.

We stayed at a motel almost opposite the long pier, end of July. Next to the tall white hotel.
There were a couple of big boats parked there then but don't know about October.
Basic motel room but we will go again, $68 a night. From memory the name was the Urungan Motel. If you book my suggestion is towards the back on the left hand side.(single storied)

Have a good holiday, great place, you will enjoy it.

When we go to Hervey to fish, we tow boat and stay at great sandy strait resort, pretty well price, near a ramp with fuel, and has overnight security boat lock up. but the best thing is you can actually egotiate toleave your boat in the marina mooring, saving the launch and retrieve every day. amen to that.

Dont know if youre hell bent on a caravan park or not, we stay in a holiday rental house in Urangan, 3 bedrooms lockup garage for the car, park the boat in the front yard behind lockable gates, walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the ramp. Another bonus for us is that they allow you to take your dog! The whole family get to go on holidays. Like i said im not sure if thats what youre after or not but it works for us - roll on Nov/Dec two weeks in Hervey Bay WooooHooooooo
