Squid teaser
Have heard that stainless steel props attract them in , and was thinking of useing a CD attached to a handline weighted with a big sinker.
After other techniques that some people use to raise them up.
Is the CD idea a goer or not?????

Re: Squid teaser
Have seen CD's used as teaster for sails as well about 6 of them linked by swivels and towed behind the boat wash

Re: Squid teaser
I know a guy who has a string of cd's linked with swivels and split rings on a 6' piece of rope he drops over the side while berlying. He has probably above average success with his catches for a lot of reef species. I have thought about making a similar setup to br thrown overboard with a float and anchor and sit it 50m behind the boat to attract things visually off to the side from the scent trail.

Re: Squid teaser
I use a bird teaser with a daisy chain of glitter floats. Works great on the sails but also with stands attacks from spaniards.
It is important not to have your floats to close together though. About a meter apart is ideal with a total of six floats.
