greetings from whyalla south oz.....
i mostly fish rocks,,,and get my share of snapper....have access to a boat or 2 but since my dad passed away its not the same going out in boat without him.....i may not get the renowned big red from the rocks,but i get fish to about 5kg..and imho they are a better fight in the shalllow water from land..which is a nice catch in other parts of astralia,but throwaway fish by whyalla standards.....i use an alvey 650c with a snyderglas rod....unbeatable.
