Wow,

Caught this one a few weeks back, on a plastic. One fish that's obviously doing well despite getting a few hard knocks.

No way... thats rediculous
Thats amazing!
Keep smiling, It makes people wonder what you're up to.
How did this little blighter fight?? Did you guess what he was before you saw him?
I'v caught a lot of fish with bites taken out of the backs of them and not affected them too much but I am surprised to see a fish with no tail left surviving.
I suppose there would always be a lot of slower moving food or scraps for them to eat, but outrunning something hungry for them would be its downfall eventually.
Jack.
well I was bumping a plastic across the bottom, and he managed to catch it, so obviously he's not only scavenging. But there wasn't much fight in him, hard to get a lot of power without the fins....

What a beauty. Never seen a fish with no tail before!
If you didn't have a photo It'd be hard to believe wouldn't it?
Wonder what snipped him, Shark maybe, big Tailor, or maybe he was born like that.
Very interesting.
Tell me you put the poor thing back

his story ready to tell,
