Little help for a foreign type?

Hi all. I am an fanatical fly chucker from British Columbia, Canada. I will be in Sydney on business from the 18th of June to the 27th. After that I will be renting a car, and spending four days somewhere around Brisbane. I will be packing a six, and an eight weight. If anyone has any suggestions for fresh, salt, or even offshore guided trips, it would be appreciated. Not adverse to gear fishing if big fish are involved. If anyone is coming to Canada I would be more than happy to provide what info I can. Heres a little recent Canuck fishporn to get you thinking.

    Cheers
    Tom

Hi Tom without a doubt contact Gavin Platz
    http://www.tienfly.com/%20
he is on the sunshine coast
alternativly if you want to know what is happening in the north brisbane area to the sunshine coast feel free to check out the local fly fishing clubs site http://www.saltwaterflyfishers.org/p...ge-gallery.php
I hope this helps but in my opinion Gavin would be the one of the coasts premium offshore fly fishing guides and if you have got the time the club does heaps of outings and schools targeting local species
