    Re: Which knot

why not just a double uni?

theres plenty of line over the top, and plenty of metres between the knot and terminal tackle. chances are the know will never see day light anyway so shouldnt be loaded and tested at anytime

    Jewie,
The Albright is mainly used for attaching a heavier line to main line such as in leader situations.
If your backing line is similar in diameter to your main line, as it should be, i would then use a double uni knot.
Your backing shouldn't be much thicker in diameter as your main line because your main line will dig in and "bury" into your backing, causing problems for you.

    Cheers Jeff.
