    summer bull shark

    this was my first gold coast bull shark, caught in march, just thought id show you since there has been a bit of interest in bull sharks recently, this one was 4.5 feet long and caught in coombabah creek

    would love to catch one ,next time im up there may give it a go , any tips on tackle and baits.cheers bdowdy

    when the water is warm they are pretty easy to catch, i use an okuma baitfeeder 60 spooled with 10kg braid, and about 30kg wire trace, with a 7 foot shimano snapper rod, whole mullet as bait with a couple of slits in the side, and burley up with diced up pilchards, this one only took me twenty minutes of burleying up before he took the bait

    thanks for the info will be around the coomera area is there any good spots up that way i can catch one of these . cheers bdowdy

    mate the coomera river is usually bursting at the seams with them throw a line in there anywhere

    Do you have to fish at night for them or can you get them daytime?
