    Might try the sundale bridge then! Water temp is warming up so the usual spots might be on soon

    Sometimes a bit of burley helps, fine breadcrumbs will do it.
    Otherwise put your polarised glasses on and walk the banks looking for that telltale flash.

    I was once told that when there is a drought on land, there is also a (fish) drought at sea. I don't know how true this theory is but it seems to apply. With no water running out of the Fitzroy River (Rockhampton) there is nothing washed out into the sea for the bait fish, hetting etc, to eat. With no bait fish close in to shore, there are no pelagics coming in to chase and feed on them. Things are very quiet around Keppel Bay so maybe it might liven up with the summer rains that hopefully are still to come.
