Thread: Flushing motor

  1. #1

    Question Flushing motor

Reluctant to use the boat so much with the water restrictions.
Any ideas on flushing 2 stroke 50cc to save water or minimum amount of time required?

    Re: Flushing motor

Stick it in a bucket of old bath water, For my little motor I can stick it in a milk crate, and then use a rubbish bin bag as a liner.

Or you could just save a couple of buckets of water from the shower.

    Re: Flushing motor

Why be reluctant to use your boat ?

The law still states you are permited to flush your motor as per usual

Sure water is now more precious than ever before but i'd be making other sacrificies before I thought twice about taking the boat out.

Forgo a shower before you go fishing because you'll only end up stinking anyway theres the water to flush your motor
