Winter trevally
Hey everyone
I live on the Gold Coast and targeted trevally most of the summer, I'm just wondering if they are still around the estuarys in decent numbers during winter or if am I better off going for another species.
thanks Daniel

Re: Winter trevally
dan,
i personally think there are more gts around in winter and more big eyes in summer (on the southern goldy), i have caught them all year round but most of my bigger ones have been in winter. so keep chasing them.

Hi Mate,
Agree with Greg totally.
Here at Noosa the trevally fishing is heaps better in winter.
I have had my best sessions in the arvo's during winter....and caught good queenies in winter too.
Cheers
Pete
