Advice on fishing around Biloela

I'm working at Moura and staying in Bilo and was hoping to flick a few lures around on my sunday afternoon's off. Have read some threads on callide and dawson river but being new to the area was hoping someone could point me the right direction for some catch and release. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Chris...Callide dam near Bilo or Caina dam near Monto Fish can be caught from the shore at both dams Caina has Bass yellas toga...Callide has Barra. yellas

Callide Dam 10 minutes east of Biloela- take the dencorub. After you have landed a 1m plus barra from the bank your going to need it.

Call in at Creek to Coast tackle in Bilo. I was there in October to fish Callide and found them extremely helpful.
