I normally fish BP Dam, but want to spend this weekend exploring fishing opportunities on Boondoomba.
Anyone able to offer starting points for me?

G'day mate.
This is old news, but:
My old man and I fished the SEQ Freshwater C+R comp there the year before last and did really well casting lures at the rocky banks and points opposite the bay where the main boat ramp is.

Small spinnerbaits in gold and black model and a purple number were the best.

You would not believe how low the water level is now.

I had a look see at the area you mentioned, just too many ski boats.
.
Some great looking areas up in the sticks.
.
This dam will become a regular, and hopefully, favourite of mine.
