No problems at all with that reel

I have 2 of its big brother the 45GLS ( 245LD) they keep on going & going.

Not a lot of problems and depending on useage you'll probably wear out first.

However when used side by side they don't appear to have the same guts or lasting ability as some of the other comparative pens, like the 113H.

I can atest to their durability. My oldest 45GLS has just turned 11yo. Only things ever done to it, is a tensioning of the ratchet C clip ( 2mins ), tightening of main gear screw pivot ( 2mins ) and give it a bit of lube once a year.

Very reliable reels.
