    DOWN RIGGER PIC

As I promised a couple of the guys this is the Down Rigger that I made.
It is made from 1500mm 50mm stainless hand railing (good quality steel) Bent to 45 degrees at 500mm.
I have an outrigger base riveted in the base for gimble lock to stop it thrashing around.
An aerial bracket for a bull bar mounting the Alvey 725c deep sea reel to the main shaft.
A stainless eye at the end with shackle and a rope roller from a sail boat.
I have used 100mtrs of 1.3mm super flex 7 wire stainless for the line.
Bomb compliments VB can, only took about 7 or 8 cans to get it right and that was the next day when could see better.LOL
Haven't used it yet but can wind the reel with left hand so hoping all is sweet.

    Cheers Kev.
