Wilson Live Fibre Rods
L.Wilson & Co. really make it hard for buyers to know about their products. They don't appear to have a website and I have not seen any brochures in any of the tackle stores or Amart #########.
A couple of weeks ago, I broke my bream rod. (breakage method no. 1 [http://www.ausfish.com.au/snyder/break.html ]).
Anyway, I bought a 8 - 10kg Live Fibre rod for mackeral etc at Christmas and love it so I thought that I would replace my bream rood with a Live Fibre but cannot find any info about them anywhere.
I read from Nuggests site that he uses a 10 1/2 ft Live Fibre Trophy model as his bream rod. What is a trophy model??
Does anyone know how to get any info on Wilson rods before I ring the factory.

Re: Wilson Live Fibre Rods
seems to me l wilson could be doing a hell of
a lot more in the advertising and promotion of
his business.
sure, guys who know what they want don't have
a problem with selecting a particular model rod,
but considering what a great product they make,
surely they are missing megabucks on sales to the
great mass of fishermen that are not familiar with
the pleasure of using such a great piece of gear.
don't want to winge too much though, i'm thankfull
enough aussies can make great fishing rods.
that alone is enough to sway me away from the endless
racks of taiwanese, chinese and even american made rods.
please don't tell me they are made in china under license, lol.

Re: Wilson Live Fibre Rods
I'm returning home in May to settle in Currumbin. Will need new tackle and would appreciate list of Wilson rods (as per Tony's post) and location of a good tackle outlet on the Gold Coast. Thanks to all and looking forward to meeting everyone at the next oppotunity.
