Mission to Dumaresq

Evening all,

Myself and a mate are heading out from the Gold coast to Texas for our first Cod mission this weekend. Planning on heading to Texas, Bonshaw Weir or Cunningham Weir.

We are purely catch and release lure fishos and just want to get onto a few of our firsts.

Usually would use a kayak however my friends back issues mean he has bought a little 3m polycraft electric setup.
A large 4x4 he has should take care of any tricky launching and it is possible for 2 people to drag it.

My main question is for any recommendations on the best of these three spots to fish at current, best suited to the vessel or if anyone is kind enough to help us out with a better location.

We will be fully self sufficient and clean and tidy, also tight lipped on any assisted info.[emoji6]
