Hello All out there in Fisho world [smiley=help.gif], I have just purchased a new Struddie and am looking for a good mid priced reel to suit. The Rod is a Stridwick SPS 6'6" 1-3 Kg. ??? ???I have looked at a few Reels out there (sooo many to chose from [smiley=wut.gif]) I like the look of the Shimano Stella (STL1000FA); however, can not afford the $800+ price tag. A few of the other reels that I have been looking at are the:
Shimano - Sahara, (SH2500FB) little bit big I think??
- Sustain, (SA1000FD)
Pflueger - Solara (5725),
Diawa - Laguna (LA1500)
- Kastor (KA1500)
ABU - (small with wooden grip, don't know model)

I have also looked at Okuma but I think they are all a bit heavy for the Struddie and I have been told to keep clear of TICA.
If any one out there has info on, or is at present using a good, mid priced, spinning reel I would appreciate the feedback. I will be loading the Reel up with 4lb Fireline and using it for flicking SPs at Bass and Yella.

i was looking at the Pflueger Solara and was told to say clear of it as it's drag is said to be really bad.
