3 new tlds

Outsider was right. Just verrified that shimano are releasing a range called tld gold. They'l be available in a 15,20 and 25. The first lot will hit our shores in a month, prices and specs are your guess but fear not the standard tld range will continue to be produced, its far to popular to be droped. The new reals are apparently verry light so i asume they'd be reasonably expensive compared to there grafite brothers...foxy

Hence the price drop on the old ones I assume, must be to slot the new ones in.

Yep,you got me Outsider I stand corrected,although my mail is a fair bit different to what foxy has been told,two new models,20 and 30,model name Tyrnos,released in Jan 05,should come in either side of $400.

Just had a look at the new shimano catalogue, has two new jig / troll rods in there called Tyrnos.
Both 6ft, 10-15kg and 15-24kg. Tough looking brutes. :o
Says they are newly released for the 2004-05 season.
No mention of Tyrnos reels or tld golds though.

Well I guess only time will tell who has the correct mail on this one. Gorilla,the Tyrnos is listed in the new priceing schedule,one for each of those rods.
