Hi Guys n Galls,
Just wondering if any of you have had anything to do with Surecatch reels. I `ve got a SCS780 Superior spin reel that is about 4 years old now and I can`t kill it. I had 40lb gorilla braid on it for first 2 years and caught some good tuna and macks on it. Now I`ve got 20 lb mono on it and last trip out heated up the spare spool(graphite)and spool clung to main shaft. Got aluminium spool back on now and back in action again.Reel has all brass gears and metal body,felt drag and I paid about $115 for it.Never seen or heard of any one else with one though.
