Just thought I'd let you know that KMart is having a 25% sale on all fishing gear making some already cheap stuff look a lot cheaper. They even had clearance stuff with an extra 25% off.

I picked up some big Killer rat lures for $3.50. Plano tackle draws for $7 and mustard hooks pretty cheap. Fireline braid works out pretty cheap about $15 for anything up to 20lbps.

Their round crab pots will come down to $15. Just wondering what other prices are for these. After losing all my good pots to THIEVES I refuse to buy dearer ones now. Is $15 pretty good for round 2-hole?

$15 is good Brett, but I've found the muddies aren't as keen to crawl into the small pots, maybe just me though.

I've had more success with some home made ones, made out of fencing wire, works out pretty cheap.

It is certainly worth your while keeping an eye out at the marts. About a month ago I needed a new rod for my TSS4 and just wandered into the one with a K and they happened to have a 4 - 8 kg one piece Ugly Stick 7ft (exactly what I wanted) at a really low price of about $75.00 and just happend to have a short term sale of all rods and reels at 30% OFF. So my new ugly cost $52.00.

Now that's a bargain.
