MINI BASS ROD

HEY, IM LOOKING FOR A MINI BASS ROD!! I LIVE AT EVANSHEAD NSW, AND FISH ALL THE LOCAL CREEKS AROUND THESE PARTS, SO IT DOSENT NEED TO CAST A COUNTRY MILE. I WANT IT TO BE SMALL. IT HAS TO BE AN OVERHEAD, POSSIBLY A SHIMANO REEL, BUT NOT A SHIMANO ROD, AROUND $300 FOR THE COMBO WOULD BE SWEET. ANY SUGGESTIONS????? :-/

I have either the s011 or s012 (can't remember) made up as a spin outfit for canoe use. Cost me $150 bucks to get made up with alconite guides. biggest fish ive caught on it so far was a tilapia pushing 3 kilo's.
