Help with matching reel to rod

Hi i have just got send a new rod from my brother in the US and need help with getting the right size reel for it.The rod is a Browing Midas 85 million psi boron matrix 2lb-8lb 6ft.I am new to freshwater and that is what the rod is for can advise between say Shimano Stradic 1000 or 2500 or even a Daiwa Capricorn 1500.By the way chasing bass, yellows thanks

Yep any one of those 3 would be perfect. My only suggestion would be check the length of the hind grip. If it is short (4-6inches) go the stradic 1000 if it is greater than 6 inches go the 2500 stadic or 1500 capricorn.
