The old man has a homemadey, its an old snapper winch with a homemade bomb made out of stainless. cheers isaac

I think Webby did an article in Bush 'n Beach once but I only have the last 8 back copies and it isn't in there.

Thunderbird about 6 months ago put up pictures of one he made. Was a bent piece of stainless tubing with a large alvey that fits in a rod holder. Very simple. As I recall, the guide was a small sailing type roller that you can get from Whitworths. Looked great and is what I plan on making for myself when I get around to it. I just need to find an old cheap big alvey from a Market. You may be able to find it by scanning back over the old posts.
