I was in Big W at Kingaroy yesterday, and they had a heap of lures reduced.

Found some Jackall lookalikes at $4.74 each, and grabbed the last three on the rack.

Just thought I'd post a pic of what the missus picked up on a -$5 lure this morning....

lookalikes must work! 1.4kg and her first bass!http://www.photobucket.com/albums/y16/wewak11/bass.jpg

Were they the Berkleys?

Nice Bass by the way.

Mate, they are Outback Lures. Capricorn Dancer 8. Rattle like mad, too.

i've bought the berkley's from big w but never really looked at the outbacks.....
might have to check em out.

the berkleys are ok but the hooks are lightweight. ok for bass but they were straightened out by a longtail on one of the poppers.

gutted :'(

Cheers

Yep, bought a few of the Berkleys, but yes the hooks wouldn't hold a Jack, but not bad value even with a hook replacement

Not as good as the pile of 26A Bombers I got for $1 each at Toowoomba Big W years ago! Love clearance sales.

You wouldn't believe some of the horrible looking lures I've purchased from those chain stores over the years, show a lot more self control now days. Oh! BTW horrible looking lures can catch some brilliant Bass...must dig out a pic
