i read about a post on these two kinds of reels. the summery i have so far is
spinning: sp, long distance, less accuracy
egg:heavy bait, short distance, better accuracy.
but i am still wondering about the fun of playing with fish, is there any significant difference when fighting with a fish.
provided i use a 2-8lb lure rod, a 2500 or smallest spinning or egg reel and meet with a 20cm bream or 30cm pike or just a small tailor, is there any difference?
any which one lasts longer generally.

Spinning/Egg Beaters are the same reel. It's just different people prefer different names. Back in my bait days I used to know them by 'Egg Beaters'. But now I never call them by that name at all.

It is, or soon will be, illegal to use any species of Bream as bait whether they are under size or not. Also any other under legal sized fish can not be used as bait. Just use Poddy Mullet (Not Sea Mullet). They will live longer on a hook then any other bait fish and all most every species of fish will eat one.
