rod for my lady!

went down to northside today to buy the missus her christmas present.
i came out with a pretty versitile combo for her, and a much lighter wallet.

the rod i got her is gary howard "shikari" 7' 4-8kg
and a stradic 6000fh spooled with 30lb finns

that should keep her happy!!

It's a good idea -
"Don't buy her gear that you wouldn't use yourself."

That way we all end up happy if we need to use her combo one day. They always react better to gear that was bought for them rather than your old stuff (especially if when they get the old stuff, and this means we need to buy a new combo to use ourselves :) :)).
