Just been given a Shimano Backbone BBE 66 15-24kg rod, what would be a good reel to match with it?

JohnK,

I have a BB 5'7" 15kg rod and it is mated to a TLD25.
I bought the combo second hand from another Ausfisher.

It is an awesome jigging outfit and we also use it trolling at times.
It has changed the way I think about shorter rods.

It is the only rod on the boat under 7' and I regularly swap between the TLD25, TSMV and the cheaper GT330 reels depending on what type of fish we are chasing.
All combos work well for us.

Cheers,
Rich
