I have a Shimano Thunnus 6000F, and I rang the Shimano parts centre to ask if a Stella 6000 handle would fit it, because the flat handle on the Thunnus gets slippery when it gets wet. The guy said no, but he thought a Stella 10000 handle would fit but might feel and look too big. I think the Thunnus 6000F handle (which is already pretty long at 100mm) is the same as the Thunnus 12000F and 14000F handles anyway.
Can anyone please tell me the length of their Stella 10000 handle? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Brent.

How about you buy the Stella 10000 reel and that way you get the handle thown in for free and you wouldn't have to worry about it fitting the Thunnus.

# #I'm still waiting for Shimano to design a Stella baitrunner 4000 & 6000, and/or for Daiwa to design a Saltiga or Saltist "bite 'n' run" 4500. I've bought quite a few baitrunners over the years, trying to find a good one, but most are graphite flexi-reels. The all-metal Penn Liveliner appears to have its hole through the spool off-centre and the drag is OK for 10lb mono but no good if you want to fish 4kg of drag on 13kg (30lb) braid.
# #The Shimano Thunnus 6000F is, in my opinion, by far the best baitrunner reel I've used. Unfortunately, it has a very small line capacity for its size and weight (265yds of 12lb & 720g - more than twice the weight of the Daiwa Caldia KIX 4000, which has the same line capacity!).
# #So I think I'll keep using my Thunnus, and wait until Shimano or Daiwa make a good, smooth and compact, relatively small, metal baitrunner. Maybe I'll send them an email #:).
