Hi
Can someone provide info on what is the difference between a $300+ trolling rod and say a $100 model. Offshore trolling, 10-15 kg, about 6ft long in the old measure.
I know that the $300 rod may have fuji gear, so the components will last longers, but I really want to know what the difference is in the blanks. I really can't seem to tell the difference beween a $100 rod and a $300 one, in the store at least.
Not ever interested in casting from the thing. Not catching 1000 lb marlin, just the usual tuna, not particularly large wahoo and macks, baby marlin if I'm lucky.
