What do you fellow members think of an "Ian Miller Rack Raider "Snapper rod (5-8kg) matched with a Shimano Symetye 4000 as a good offshore Snapper combo.
I want to use it for soft plastic fishing for snapper of the Gold Coast.
Is there anyone who uses/recomends this setup.
I can get it on sale for $225 at the moment.
Any feedback or comments would be appreciated as I am seriosly thinking of going back and getting one tomorrow.
Thanks
Wazza

I use one with a Penn Affinity 4000 and it balances nicely. It suits heavier placky work and casts small slugs quite well. I would like a slightly larger high speed reel to really make it work well on the pelagics though. A good rod for the price
