Arrived at Boondooma at 1am Friday morning and aftewr setting up camp, could'nt resit the noise of surface hits and went fishing.
Two hours later, a few hits but no takers, we hit the pillow.
Unfortunately the rest of the weekend was the same, a few (very few) hits none landed.
The bait brigade has success on caties, spangle perch, heaps of tilapia and a smatering of goldens and bass.
Biggest bass was 0.9kg and biggest golden was just over 1kg !!!
The whole dam was shut down with very clear water and warm to boot.
Still, a great weekend away and some great entertainment with weedbed antics, swim for the boat and bog the 4wheel drive.
