had a fish around the seaway and broadwater area last Sat. Headed out through the seaway about 5 am. Cast some slugs around the end of the North wall but no strikes. Headed out from the seaway for some trolling - there was about 15-20 knots S-SE wind but no swell. Trolled some bibbed lures around for about 30 mins but no strikes. Lots of birds in the area just outside the seaway and schools of bait on the sounder, but didn't see any signs of fish. Went up the broadwater to Brown and Crab Is after that and trolled up 2 flathead 45 and 49 cm over about 3 hours. Pretty slow but at least got a feed.
