One of those days when everything is just perfect. Small swell, light SW-SE breeze, sunny. I crossed the bar around 5 am and have never seen so much pelagic activity in my life - mack tuna, longtails, yellowfin. Caught several mack tuna to 4 kg on lures, one longtail of 7.5 kg on live yakka, and several school mackeral to 4.5 kg on trolled pilchards, live baits and lures. All within 6 km of the Caloundra bar. Great fun!
