Decided against going outside this morning and trolled some plastics around Lake Intrepid instead. We were targeting Bream but got not a one :(

First fish was a nice flathead on a small brown grub right next to the shore. Then up near the Robina Lakes weir, trolling that same small grub, a 2Kg Trevally gave me my bigest thrill on plastics yet. On four kg line it was touch and go. It's just as well that the canals are a limited waterway - this boy took a lot of line! I have never caught a Trevor before and I am fairly stoked with my first specimen. It's great to see that you can get such great sized fish in your backyard. ;D

Lindy got another flathead soon after and we saw some bait fishermen get a few decent looking bream. A lovely day on the water #- but tomorrow it's out off Currumbin for some outside angling. ;) :D Today was C&R - Not tomorrow I hope!

Spewing that the digital camera was out of battery #>:( A memorable moment missed - oh well! :-[ :P ;)

Take plenty of fuel and you could go to New Caladonia.
