Bit late on the report here people but have been away from the internet for a while. Tuesday night we decided we would head up to the passage and try and score a few fish on wednesday cos it was only gonna be 15-20knts N/NE and they were predicting 20knt+ for the rest of the week ::) ::) :'(.

Arrived at donnybrook around 5:30am on wednesday mornin with a 5knt Northerly blowing. A few casts with the casts net yeilded a few small poddy mullet and lots of weed :P So off we went to get some yabbies after that we anchored acrosss from mission point and only got a few small bream so we headed up toward Lime Pocket to drop off the crab pots, on the way back found a nice little sand bank so had a drift over that and got a sole/flounder of about 30cm :) Anchored up and casting into about 30 - 80cm of water scored a nice whiting and was busted off twice by a decent flattie and something silvery that looked like a big bream. A few small other sorts and we decided to try our favoured spots round Misssion Point.

Back Down there we got some average bream and a little shovelnose ray and a few unstopables :o :o >:(. Moved again about 500m and got some nice bream and more unstopables :o :o [smiley=speechless.gif] Dad even got a squire about 27 cm [smiley=stunned.gif]

In the end we ended up with a feed of bream whiting a flounder and a nice sandie.

Not bad considering it was raining nearly all the time lightly though and about 20 knts+ from 10 onwards but hey i'm not complaining. We left at 10 anyway. Early on it was glassed out and was spectacular conditions til bout 8 [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=thumbsup.gif] [smiley=happy.gif]
