We'll we left Bribie ramp at 3.30am for hutchies, the run across bay was the usuall average,. We arrive at hutchies at around 4.45am, with a tank full of livies, managed a cobia that pull the scales to 11kg and that was it. Got biten off 3 times on 150lb trace. Heaps of boats were up there but little action was, so we decided to pull lures down past flinders and smiths but for not even a turn of the ratchet. By this time conditions where great so we scooted out to deep tempest and got a feed of sqire and yellowtail king. We did have one hit on a livie out there that screamed around 200 meteres of 15kg off the 45gls until we decided to lock it up and snapp the line, No idea what that was but it hit it with that much force that we were flat out getting it out of the holder. Left aorund 12pm and by the time we were back a the cape the nor east had come through and was making for another average trip across the bay.
