left the ramp at 5am. wind was up a bit from the S/W. decided to head to coolum, and got a bit wet on the way there. found a bit of structure and anchored up. floaters out and first cast i was bitten off half way up a meter long trace! not a touch after that. a few fish started woring in the area so out with the slugs. seamed as if every rat kingy on the sunshine coast was harrasing baitfish!
results for the day- about 20 kingies (all released)
- 1 squire (about 2kg)
- 1 black tip reef shark (released)
- a couple of little mac tuna
only one fish in the esky, but i had a ball on light gear.
how did every one else go?

Went out early on 31st from Mooloolaba and trolled skirted lures to Coolum and back. Seas were pretty sloppy early but cleaned up a bit by about 8.00am. Only caught one small bonito.

went to wide caloundra sunday only got 1 good kingy
4 p/perch 2 moses perch so headed up to the bottom of the banks & could not lose a bait hoga
