Four Beacons 23-10-05 (Late Report)

Mate went out to four beacons last Sunday week and took a couple of guys from work. Set up and jigged for livies before rigging up for the big ones. He had several big runs that busted him up but ended up with a few cobia (one going 21KG and nearly pulling him out of the boat when he gaffed it) and a couple of macktuna (one in the pic 6KG). Good to see a few around and will be heading out with him again soon so i hope to meet some of you out there. I know that Fishin_Dan is in my ear at work to make sure he gets a start.

Good too see he got some :)..
I was actually fishing beside him for a few hours doing the same thing for zero takers .... :'(....They prob came on the boat 2 minutes after I left ::)

Didnt see him get the cobes but did see him when he got the Tuna on 12lb "I think it was" and he had it rubbing on my anchor line ...

Lucky to get it in !
