i fished in the river today aruond the noosa sheraton today i got smashed up three times and only managed to pull this one from under the boats

Hey dan,

I would be fine with getting busted off 3 times and managing one of those!!! Awesome fish mate. Me and a mate spent a lot of time around the sheraton bridge last year getting bitten off a lot but not pulling one out. Going to REALLY target them this year though!! Heading up pretty soon so this report is very encouraging ;D WOuld be very interested to here what gear, time and tide you got him on if possible!

I've got to agree - I would be happy to be busted off ten times if I new the eleventh fish would look like that!

Top fish - hoping and trying real hard to get a similar specimen this summer.

Nice fish, around the pylons and boats at Harbourtown (Tewantin) is another spot worth trying. I haven't fished there for a couple of years though the restaurant on the boardwalk used to feed them at night.

I GOT IT ON A LIVE PODDY MULLET FISHED ON A 20 LB HAND LINE ALL THE BUST UPS WERE ON THE SAME BAIT ONLY ON MY WILSON SOVERIGN 7 FT 1 PCE WITH 10 LB FIRE LINE 20 LB FLURO LEADER AT 3.30 THIS MORNING
