My son Chad caught his first keeper flathead today in the Pine River. #He's been trying for so long and getting lots of just undersized and everytime we go out he says to me "Dad I really wan't to catch a big flatty today ." #So when we measured it and it went about 42 cms. he was rapt.

We also got 2 bream and a whiting.

Cheers
Brad.

Well done Chad [smiley=thumbsup.gif] The wet and the trawlers which have bin workin' make that a good fish for a little feller. Good on yer.

Great effort mate.
They seem to all be undersize in the pine! I usually anchor up upstream just past deep water bend where a little estuary emptys out. Fish with whitebait here and usually pick up half a dozen flatties all undersize :(
